Moisture absorption

Both materials have excellent moisture absorption, but cotton towels often take longer to dry than bamboo towels because the fibre is less aerated.

Cotton tends to store water and be less breathable. This is why cotton bath towels quickly smell like "wet dog". Bamboo towels are much more breathable and don't tend to store water.
