Nicolas, Comptoir du Bambou's ambition since its creation has been to offer its customers luxury and responsible linen. Tell us more. 

 

Nicolas Sclippa : Quite right, Laura. Comptoir du Bambou's mission is to offer an alternative to traditional household linen. To achieve this, we've spent several years in R&D and developed an advanced bamboo fibre: Fibre B®. It is ultra-resistant compared to cotton or polyester fibre, very easy to care for, extremely hard-wearing and long-lasting softness. 

Using the most environmentally-friendly plant on the planet, bamboo, we have developed unique products that combine efficiency, style and comfort. As a result, our linen is particularly suited to the spa and hotel industries. It is three times more resistant than traditional cotton, and no stain remains embedded in its fibres, making our products practical and durable. Comptoir du Bambou is now a market leader, and our products can be found in prestigious hotels and spas such as the Ritz Club & Spa, the Cheval Blanc Group, La Maison Dr. Hauschka, Groupe B Signature, Spa Clēmēns, Maison Alaena, etc.

 

Can you take us back to the origins of Comptoir du Bambou and tell us what prompted the creation of the brand?

 

N.S. : The Comptoir du Bambou adventure began in 2016 following a simple but not insignificant observation: cotton linen is an energy-consuming product that becomes rough and wears out quickly. After several years of R&D, our B® was born. It's a clever blend of a carefully selected species of bamboo and Egyptian cotton. What's more, the bamboo we use is grown to preserve biodiversity. Thanks to this technology, Comptoir du Bambou has revolutionised the professional linen market. A range of exceptional linen that enables them to add value to their business, enhance the customer experience and save on their costs.

Finally, Nicolas, can we take a quick look at your range and focus on your made-to-measure offer?

 

N.S. : Of course you can.
